School Uniform for Session 2025-26
The Emmanuel Mission School operates a formal uniform policy, revised and drawn up in consultation with parents, staff, and governors. We believe good uniform standards are important because:
- Uniform helps to avoid distinctions based on wealth and social background.
- Uniform helps to develop a sense of community and shared responsibility.
- Uniform helps to instil a sense of smartness in appearance.
- Uniform is also a sign of order and discipline.
- Uniform brings openness amongst the children and responsibility in their attitudes.
Students must come to school in their prescribed uniform. Boys must have short haircuts (except Sikhs). Girls' hair must be tied back neatly or hair must be cut short. Students will be sent back home from the school with a note in the diary if improperly dressed. Parents are requested to avoid buying oversized uniforms because they do not look smart and become inconvenient for the child to run and play freely.

Navy blue sweater for classes Nursery to V. From Class VI onwards, a Blue blazer is compulsory.
